Player Code of Conduct

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCTDJGT TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP

The Desert Junior Tour takes great pride in the quality of its players and host facilities for each tournament. In order to continue making Desert Junior Tour tournaments enjoyable for everyone, we require all members to adhere to a set of guidelines known as the Code of Conduct. Its purpose is to help our participants grow and mature by understanding and accepting the consequences of their actions. The Code of Conduct is to be followed throughout the junior’s stay at the tournament.

* No profanity/excessive noise.
* No temper tantrums.
* No slamming of golf club
* No abuse of the golf course.
* No use of tobacco products, alcohol or illegal drugs
* No cell phones, radios or pagers.
* Improper attire (see dress code)

Violation of the above conduct rules will be handled on an individual basis. If the act in question affects the play of others, the player in question will be DISQUALIFIED under equity (Rule 1-4)

DRESS CODE

*Collared shirt, tucked in.
*No jeans or cutoffs.
*Hats, if worn, must be worn as designated.
*If wearing shorts, they must be Bermuda length.
*Belts on boys
*Soft spikes only
*Girls shirts not to rise above the belt line at any time during the golf swing.
*Capri pants on girls that are appropriate for golf.

The committee reserves the right to make rulings and ask a player to leave the golf course because of inappropriate attire.
